Meet the Team
Tara
I am a full time High School Teacher and Coach from Edmonton with a Major in Physical Education, Minor in Biology and with nearly a decade of experience in teaching Sports Medicine, Biology and Physical Education. I am passionate about the human body including anatomy and physiology, promoting and maintaining health and wellness, and about injury and emergency scene management. Since becoming a certified First Aid/CPR instructor in 2019, I have found great enjoyment in bringing confidence to others through these courses as well.
Tommy
I was also born and raised in Edmonton, and I have grown up playing many sports my entire life, including for the University of Alberta Golden Bears Men’s Basketball Team. I have a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education from the University of Alberta and am currently on the Edmonton Firefighter Eligibility List, as I look to pursue a career in Firefighting. My career aspirations, as well as interest in the human body from my post secondary studies, and years of playing experience, led me to become a Certified First Aid/CPR instructor this year as well, knowing that sharing these life saving skills will make our city a safer place.
We are the Watsons!
We were married in 2017, and have been happily building a life in Edmonton together that often revolves around our two rescue dogs - Kilo and Shadow. We both love home renovations, cheering for the Edmonton Oilers, and camping, and find time for these hobbies on our down time. We are Third Party Instructors certified through Apex Training Solutions, and we chose this company to become certified through because of their first class curriculum and engaging delivery model that offers an excellent learning experience for students. We look forward to bringing these courses to our friends, family and many other Edmontonians for years to come. Thank you for choosing us to work with you!
